Rain – it makes one catch up on all the “inside” jobs. As you’ll see, it’s been a week of rain here.

Thimbleberries are in bloom right now. Sometimes the bees work them, but not in the rain. They produce a wonderfully tart berry, but you have to eat them when you pick them because they are too soft and too good to carry around.
